Planting Timelines

    - Sow direct outdoors in Early Spring for a Summer Crop, or late Summer for an Autumn Crop
    - Make even rows, spaced 18 inches apart, approx 1cm deep
    - Sprinkle the seeds evenly along your trench
    - Cover with compost, pat down and water
    - Once seedlings emerge, thin them out to be approx 18 inches apart
    - If sown indoors, harden then off by gradually bringing them outside for longer periods of time in the day for a week and then transplant
    - Harvest leaves when fully grown by snapping them off at the base of the stem
