Planting Timelines

    - For best results, sow pepper seeds indoors from late Winter onwards, so the plants have a long summer of growth
    - Prepare cell trays or pots with multi-purpose compost
    - Sow seeds individually, approx 2 per cell or small pot
    - Cover seeds with a thin layer of compost and water
    - Seeds may take approx. 2 weeks before germination
    - Once seedlings are a few inches tall, they may be transplanted to larger pots
    - Pepper plants need the long warm days of the summer in order to fruit
    - Plants can be brought outside once warmer weather arrives or kept in a greenhouse / cold frame
